I like the way it is now. I don't have to worry about working just to get to the higher levels. I can go through the game and unlock as much stuff as I can and titles adn then go back and unlock more.
The day i've unlocked absoultely EVERYHTING in the game is when i'll say higher levels.

How about gaining 1 or maybe 2 Attribute point when you level past 20? This way you could at least boost your skills. Gaining 1 or 2 points wouldn't make your character that much more powerful then the monsters that are currently in the game.

AAAAND what about PVP?
1-2 Attribute points per level after 20 would mean that you would soon have maxed every attribute. Overpowered much?

Some people want to turn this game into some kind of WoW or NWN where pvp is absolutely unbalanced and boring.
Please, make suggestions to make GW better, not to make it similar to other games you like.

Sorry, my suggestion only applied to PvE. Maybe 1 point would be too much, maybe 1 point every 30,000 (every 2 levels) experience.
I don't play PvP and would never make suggestions on that aspect of the game.
Oh, GW is the only game I play.

There's another important reason for the lvl 20 cap besides PvP. It lets them keep the chapters truly "stand alone," and someone can start with just NF from lvl 1 and be roughly as useful in PvE at lvl 20 as someone who has grandmaster cartographer in all campaigns. Could you imagine a noob isle that suddenly has to level you to 30 in the next campaign, then 40 in the next, with the increasing inflation? Same goes for keeping gear stats mostly in line with each other across campaigns.
With lightbringer they did add a kind of post-20 attribute improvement and a few skills to use with it. But notably these are only useful vs abbadon's minions, therefore they won't give NF owners a huge advantage in the next campaign.

Attribute points for levels would destroy PvE as well. The entire game is balanced for a level 20 character to have 200 attrib points. From there, it's all about skill. If you made it about how much experience you have instead the game would become intolerably easy. All you'd have to do is grind level for awhile and you could kill anything with ease.
This isn't a game that's designed for grind, it's not a game that would be fun with grind. Instead it's a wholly unique game in that the vast bulk of it is about skillful use of limited resources to defeat ever increasing challenges. Your character's power isn't tied to how long you've been playing it, but rather how well you use it. That's cool as hell, and I wouldn't want to see it changed.

I hope that they never implement an increase, because once they do it will only be moments before someone is whining to get it increased again. GW is about skills not about grinding...want grinding and love WoW so much go play them.
